Each file includes the two-color gradient settings the dragon design depends on, so your print can match the finished dragons in our shop as closely as possible. Want all three styles? Our bundle includes all three files at a discount.
Choosing a Style
The Standard dragon is the original bearded dragon-inspired design, with textured scales and a full range of movement from head to tail. The Spikey style adds pronounced spikes along the full length of the body for a more aggressive look. The Large Horn style is the largest of the three, with statement horns and a commanding presence. Each style is available as its own file, or as part of the bundle.
Slicer Settings for the Digital 3MF File
Important: 3MF format required. This dragon uses a two-color gradient effect that depends on multi-color print settings embedded in the digital 3MF file. Please use Bambu Studio or OrcaSlicer to open it. These slicers preserve the gradient color mapping correctly. Converting to a plain STL or running the file through a generic mesh repair tool will break the gradient effect.
Tip: For the smoothest gradient transition, print at a 0.06mm or 0.08mm layer height. Finer layers blend the color change more seamlessly than standard 0.2mm layers. If your print shows a glitchy or banded color pattern, switch back to a standard 0.2mm layer height.
Printing Your Dragon Step by Step
Before you start, confirm that your printer is level and calibrated, and that your filament is loaded for the colors your slicer expects. Open the digital 3MF file in your slicer, check the color settings, then slice. Print the dragon in the orientation the file sets, and let it cool before removing it from the bed. Once it’s off the plate, work each joint gently to set the pose.

Once you find a slicer profile and layer height that gives you a clean gradient, save it. Repeat prints in the same colors look most consistent when you use the same settings each time.
